uneven stay, some issues
lack of heating rundown rooms
the staff were excellent, very pleasant and helpful.
The room lacked heating or hot water. This was a major issue! the rooms felt rundown. returning home to warmth was a great relief, i must say.

Excellent Riverside Stay
riverside lawn good service festive decoration
The riverside lawn featured many seats and tables. Outside service made it convenient. I found the lounge and bar were good sizes. Staff members were friendly and helpful. They assisted me with all my requests. The breakfast was nice, I especially liked the fire lit in the drawing room and the festive decorations.
Upon my arrival, the air conditioning in my room was not working! This. One of the bathroom sinks had a slight leak as well. I believe the windows could use a thorough cleaning. They was dirty.

warm service beautiful smile positive start
compleat angler breakfast was fantastic. i was part of a large meeting group arriving just before it started. the service was very warm and understanding! gowri greeted and served us with a beautiful smile.

riverside delight!
river view heated flooring ironing board
i enjoyed the sizable room with a lovely river view, it made for a great start to the day. the bathroom had heated flooring and a generous amount of space, very welcome! the closet included both a safe and an iron plus ironing board.
the bar closed quite early at 9.30pm, it would have been nice to have a later option for drinks.

The restaurant's food was great. I was impressed by the quality and presentation. the service was very efficient and attentive. I felt well taken care of during my meal. a decent size car park added to the convenience too.

The setting is superb, especially with direct access to restaurants nearby. You have several dining choices. the hotel is positioned right on the river, a very special location offering beautiful views. the concierge service was friendly. It made arrival quite smooth.

the receptionist was so helpful during check-in, answering all my questions with a smile. the barman provided prompt, efficient service with all my requests, ensuring that i was happy. the breakfast staff were also polite plus attentive, greatly appreciated.
